1. What is a website? | 2. Planning your site | 3. Get started with HTML | 4. Add Attributes | 5. CSS
Before you start writing the pages for your site, it's helpful to plan what you want people to learn from it. The users, not you, control what they look at and what they ignore. The site should be broken into simple, logical parts so visitors can find what they're interested in. The first, which is probably what you'll design first, should contain an introduction that tells people what they should expect to find on your site. It should contain links to other pages, organized by the kinds of topics covered on those pages. To start with, we'll write a simple page that can be used for the home (main) page. This is the first page visitors to your site will see. As you learn more HTML, you can add to your page.
